We (Stacy, David, Ittai, and Truckee) love to spend our free time camping and adventuring as a family enjoying God’s great Creation.  We are so blessed to live in such a remarkable and diverse natural area!  We gain even greater joy by being able to share these amazing experiences with others, and we hope that your child – or your whole family - will be able to join us.  This is my 13th year organizing and leading trips for youth and families into the deserts, mountains, national parks, and mountain biking trails of the Western U.S.  We hope to reflect, in some small way, the love that God has shown to us through organizing these adventures.  A highlight for me is having the opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus through engaging stories from the Bible in a setting of some of God’s most magnificent creation.  Hope to see you on the trail!

What is the En Gedi Project?

"Camp En Gedi" is the unofficial name of every camp

we host.  Camp En Gedi is not at a fixed location - it is

wherever we happen to be enjoying the blessings of

God's creation and the company of those he has

arranged to have join us.

In the Bible, En Gedi was a beautiful oasis on the Dead

Sea where David found refuge while he was being

pursued and persecuted by King Saul, who was trying to hunt and kill him.  God blessed David there and brought him rest, and David connected with God there.  David wrote some of his most beautiful psalms while sheltering at En Gedi.  We hope that what we offer is similarly a refuge from the craziness of life, a blessing, a comfort, and a rest for those who join us, as well as a place where campers can hear from God.

The En Gedi Project has a broad mission of serving the community in Jesus' name and is a California Non-Profit organized under section 501(c)3 of the IRS Tax Code. EIN 85-2689193
