Base Camp, Blue Lake, Grouse Ridge Area.

6-night trip at one of our favorite locations.  Located near Lake Spaulding off of I-80, Blue Lake is reached after a dirt 4x4 road, a short walk up to the lake, and then a canoe ride across to a secluded camp in the trees.  No facilities – we dig our own toilet holes, bring in our own water, tables and chairs, etc.  Activities include canoeing, swimming, hiking the nearby Zion Peak, a drive to the Grouse Ridge Lookout Tower and hike back to camp, campfires and sleeping under the stars, and a trip to find some great jumping rocks into the water.  Set up day is on the 4th and tear down is on the 19th, and you are welcome to join as early and late as those dates if you like.  5-11 June will have planned activities.  Basecamp will be quiet from 12-17 June while some campers backpack.  Packing list and permission slip are below.
